I’m running to be the next city councillor in Don Valley West because I want to be your community advocate at City Hall.

Residents tell me they’re frustrated with worsening traffic, they’re concerned about rising crime such as car thefts and they can’t afford unreasonably high property tax increases.

I will champion practical, common sense solutions to address these concerns.

These are the issues that I’ve been tackling throughout my career as a newspaper columnist and broadcaster in Toronto. They’re also the issues I spoke out about during my recent Mayoral campaign.

I promise to be attentive to the needs of the community, to really listen to constituents and to respond to your concerns in a timely fashion.

It’s time to get back to basics at City Hall and focus on what really matters – delivering the services that you rely on. The residents of Don Valley West deserve a municipal government that serves their needs.
